Spring Break Colorado

This year we revisited a destination from 20 years ago. When we were at BYU we slipped away to Glenwood Springs for a few days and it was one of the most fun trips ever. So for Spring Break we got tickets for the Amtrak California Zephyr. We drove down to Utah Sunday afternoon and caught the early morning train headed East out of Provo Monday morning at 4:35 am. It is about 8 hours by train through some beautiful country. The observation car you can go on the upper level and look out the windows. They have a dining car as well and some really good food. It is a great way to travel that may not be around too much longer. We arrived in Glenwood Springs just after noon. The thing that is awesome about Glenwood Springs is the hot springs, the train station, the old Hotel Colorado, Hotel Denver, old downtown and all the ski areas and snowmobiling in the winter plus hiking, camping and river rafting in the Summer. The hot springs year round which we enjoyed after lunch and again after dinner. The hot springs at night are super cool.

Tuesday we hit the slopes at Sunlight Ski Area after breakfast. Spent the morning and early afternoon skiing and mid afternoon rented some snowmobiles and went on an adventure. Absolutely beautiful day on the slopes with fresh snow from the weekend. Sun was out most of the day. I wore my brace for my wrist and didn’t have any issues. We wrapped up Tuesday with another trip to the hot springs and the ghost tour at the Hotel Colorado later that night.

Wednesday we went exploring and spent most of our time in the Vail area. We had dinner at this fun place called Bart & Yetis. They allow you to bring your dogs too! So maybe some day we can bring the dogs back. I think they would love that. This was a super cool place and a big reason we love to travel is finding fun local places to eat. We had chicken wings and hamburgers.

Thursday we hit the slopes again at Beaver Creek. Skiing and snowboarding. The kids really like snowboarding. They were at it most of the afternoon. Our 13 year old really wanted to buy a snowboard but I suggested he may not want to at a resort. PRICEY! He was so ready though lol. I actually did better this time snowboarding after some lessons. I was told I’m a cool mom for snowboarding. ♥️ The weather started turning bad by mid afternoon. So we headed out before the rain started. Spent Thursday evening in Carbondale having dinner and watching the new Tomb Raider movie.

Friday morning was a massage at the spa and breakfast. We had to get the SUV rental turned in and back to the train station by 1 pm. We departed just before 2 pm. We had dinner on the train and enjoyed the family sleeper compartment. Definitely worth the money and I would recommend it if you take the train. It rained all day Friday and a big part of the trip back. We arrived in Provo at 9:30 pm and loaded up, dropped Keith’s dad at his home and headed North. Got to Idaho Falls a bit after 1 am. I don’t remember much because I fell asleep on the way home. This morning I got up early and retrieved the dogs, then made breakfast. They were so happy we were home. Keith was pretty hammered this morning from the drive so he got breakfast served in bed. Today I am packing for my flight tomorrow. Headed to dōTERRA Leadership in Long Beach Monday. Fly into Salt Lake City tomorrow afternoon for a girls night in Utah before we head out. That is going to be soooo fun! Naughty time in Park City. I think we had a successful Spring Break and a new place the family wants to revisit.

March Madness 2018

I have three brackets this year. The family bracket, friend bracket and young women bracket. Monday night we had friends over for the Bracket Party. Keith was King of the Grill and barbecued hamburgers & hotdogs. Everyone set up their brackets even some not planning to. Peer pressure and prizes tend to be powerful motivations. The overall winner gets an Xbox One with some games and all those that pick the NIT winner get a set of movie tickets. It’s going to be a fun group, we have over 100 playing.

The young women came over on Tuesday evening for our activity of eating pizza and filling out brackets for March Madness. The Bishopric came as our Tournament Experts to help the girls as most of them had never done a bracket. It was so much fun and I love having them try new things. We did up March Madness tees for the girls with “playing to win” on them. It was a party, It took time, Bishopric was very patient lol.

As for the family bracket. I won last year and oh my heck the smack talk is insane. It’s like psychological warfare with the men in this family. I really want to win and get my name on the family plaque again. So I’m ignoring it and we will see what happens!

Tonight I’m in Park City. Had dinner at Ruth Chris with clients and tomorrow is their event. They have prizes for the March Madness Tournament as well and almost everyone is playing. We will be posting score updates and rankings of the participants during the event. After 8 pm both nights we will have the game on as well with giveaways for those attending.

Just winding down tonight after half an hour in the hot tub out watching the snow fall. Beautiful and surprisingly warm night. This week has been awesome!

The Game

BYU won Monday night and beat St. Mary’s. I told Keith they were going to win. He didn’t believe me. He should have though. So anyway we decided to head down to the WCC Championship game against Gonzaga. I couldn’t get airlines tickets out of Idaho Falls for a reasonable price so we got up Tuesday morning and drove to Salt Lake City and flew from there. Still were pricey but less so than from Idaho. Mandy and her hubby were already there and we talked Sara and her hubby in going down but they got up early and drove. We all stayed at Caesar’s Palace. I haven’t stayed there before and it is very cool. As you all probably know BYU got smashed. It wasn’t pretty and I won’t spend time reminiscing as it really was ugly.

So after the game we had the post game or as I like to call it, The Game. We had three rooms. The rules were pretty simple. You had 20 minutes to play and 5 minutes to get to the next room. Since we were in Vegas we had to have the element of chance. So the girl in Mandy’s room rolled a dice at 20 minutes and texted the group. Odd number the guys ran, even number girls ran. So when the 20 ran out you had to dress and go. The rooms were all in the same tower so 5 minutes was enough if you didn’t run into any obstacles. If you didn’t make it in 5 minutes you went to the penalty box. Which was 5 minutes of lost play time. No touchy touchy.

A few of the complexities to The Game. First the elevator. It could cause delays of valuable seconds or even minutes. You found out where the stairs were really fast. Second you could do anything but full intercourse so in the heat of the moment 20 minutes passes really fast. Strategic-wise best not to get too naked. Also a good idea to keep clothes easy to gather and dress. Sacrificing a minute to start getting ready early could save you 5 minutes of penalty. Oh yes, you learn to cheat a little. The non-runner could get ready for fun while the runner was coming. I found this particularly beneficial. Third the dice roll also indicated where the runner in Mandy’s room was going. So here was the breakdown:

1 Mandy

2 Her Hubby

3 Me

4 Keith

5 Sara

6 Her Hubby

The other two had to decide where they were going and try to communicate that in the group text. No side texting allowed. So as you can imagine there was a lot of chatter to cause confusion. Yes you could end up staying in the room if the dice roll was with the person you were with, which was 5 minutes bonus time and the others were running. Had that happen once. The ensuing dip was very nice!

So we played several hours of The Game Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. We started around 11:30 after walking around a little and grabbing some Virgin Margaritas. It was about 4 when everyone started crashing lol. The real challenge and fun for us girls was getting the guys hard, keeping them from cumming and then if it was an odd role watching them try and get ready to run with a hard on. For the girls it was trying to look presentable enough to leave the room. The guys were messing up our hair and generally wrinkling our clothes. There were some looks as we were walking or jogging or running down hallways. My blonde hair (yes Fav) was a little messed up.

Wednesday morning everyone slept in, had a late breakfast and we went to the spa for massages and some attention. I had my favorite. The boys went exploring and ended up at the stratosphere. They did the bungee jump thing. Brave souls is all I can say. It’s like way up there.

We ended up seeing the Donnie & Marie show Wednesday evening and enjoying some relax time. We chatted and just enjoyed being with our friends mostly. The only naughty was some girl girl kissing so the guys could judge what they thought was most hot. It seems they like it when they can see tongues touching or a lower lip being lightly bitten. That was the consensus. I definitely gave Keith a night to remember when we got back to the room. We are getting ready to board our flight and should be home by 6. Always excited to be headed home.

Texas Tour

“God blessed Texas with His own hand. Brought down angels from the promised land. Gave ’em a place where they could dance. If you want to see heaven, brother, here’s you chance. I’ve been sent to spread the message. God blessed Texas!”

I will admit I have been a little anxious about our Texas Tour. I know most of the leaders down there from Convention. Mandy and Sara had recruited them and placed them below me. Last year I finally decided to get serious about dōTERRA and it has been so very awesome. But a lot of what I have been busy with has been building in new markets. Not so much where things have been established prior to my involvement. Texas has been asking us to come down. It takes some planning but we finally pulled it all together and it exceeded all my expectations. Texas you Rock! Yes this is how Texans view the world. (:

Flight left Idaho Falls at 7:30 am. Rendezvous with Sara in SLC and we were off to Houston. After getting our car, bags and something to eat we were off to Sugar Land. We had several meetings in the afternoon there at the Hyatt Place and that evening had a light catered dinner at a beautiful home in Sugar Land where we had our class in their back yard. It was a warm beautiful night. We had a good turnout and had some success and laughs. We were exhausted by the time we got back to the hotel. Travel days wipe you out. We both woke up at 4 am and were all over each other. Hot passion is the best way ever to start a day. After breakfast we were off to San Antonio. We stayed at the Hotel Valencia on the Riverwalk. I highly recommend it the next time you visit San Antonio. I loved the atmosphere and the meetings and class went great.

Afterward a bunch of us went for dessert. There is this place called Boudro’s on the Riverwalk. The waitress recommended the Double Chocolate Brownie, Creme Brulee or Warm Winter Berry Cobbler. We ordered several of each and passed spoons around. The Double Chocolate Brownie is delicious but should come with a warning label. One person should not eat one, it is tag team eating.

On the way back to the Hotel we passed by Coyote Ugly. We did not have time to stay unfortunately, but we did take a couple pics and I bought a tee! Definitely want to come back and dance on the bar! Yes those are Bras. Not ours!

We went back to our sweet suite and finished up some stratagem with our San Antonio friends on placements and enjoyed the view of the Riverwalk from our balcony. They left around 11 and the minute the door closed Sara and I were all over each other. I was still horny from earlier in the day. Sara brought a vibe, I brought the double ended dildo and we may have been heard down on the Riverwalk.

Friday morning we were up and off to Waco after breakfast. Waco is a beautiful and fun town. Waco is also home of one of my all time favorite shows, Fixer Upper, on HGtv. It is probably good I don’t live close by. Budget would be blown at Magnolia. Sara kept me focused and I only got one hour of shopping. But I told her next time she had to give me bonus time here. We had a really good class Friday night. Some peeps stayed really late strategizing again so we crashed hard. I’m going to admit something here. A big reason we built a Silo on our Barn is because I love the Magnolia Market. It is an incredible place to visit. Silos are super cool!

Saturday we got to sleep in a little longer then grabbed some breakfast and headed to Dallas. This was the big day. We had peeps from all over the area coming to our training and party. Our venue of choice was the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek. Historic and the perfect location and ambiance. Sara felt strongly in changing up some of the music we play during our Tour. We have both been extremely touched by the music of The Greatest Showman. I have heard it was eight years of work and commitment in bringing it to the big screen. It is inspiring, magical and powerful in its message. We started the event with The Greatest Show which quickly got everyone’s attention, A Million Dreams accompanied my presentation. The Other Side, This is Me, Never Enough and Tightrope played between the sessions. We wrapped things up at the end of the event with From Now On after some closing remarks.

We had a break for dinner at 6 pm and the “Supers” Party started at 8. I went as Harley Quinn and Sara as Lara Croft.

Mandy and her husband joined by video to say hello to everyone and we had the Duke North Carolina game on as well. The highlight of the night was we had a band playing for us to do Karaoke. Live Karaoke is a thing. We had the screen for the words, we had back up vocals so we didn’t sound too bad! It was the most fun Karaoke night of my life. Absolutely amazing singing with a band. We had prizes for the best performance and the best costumes by category. Villain, Hero, Original and an Overall winner. Best performance was a guy that sang Faithfully. OMG everyone went nuts he was so good. The band was like here is your winner. When the band calls it, you know. Our costume winners included The Mummy as Villain, Mystery Inc of Fred, Daphne, Velma and Shaggy and their Scooby stuffed animal the Heroes. One of the ladies came as Green Lantern, she took home Original and our Overall winner was The Incredible Hulk. Now keep in mind the room was predominately women and he was pretty darn sexy and he was green. He could sing to. I mean we can’t be blamed for being won over.

Our Karaoke songs were I Will Survive, Living on a Prayer, Uptown Funk, Shake it Off and Sweet Caroline. Sara made me sing Shake it Off by myself because she couldn’t stop laughing. Sweet Caroline the whole room joined in and Uptown Funk we pulled our leaders up there to join in. Things wrapped up around 11 and Sara and I were each given a Texas flag signed by everyone. It is a treasure I will have displayed in the Barn. They were so kind. It was a very good day.

Sunday we were up early, which I may have been murmuring about after my alarm went off. However, it was worth dragging myself out of bed. An 80 minute hot rocks massage to start the day and then we caught brunch with a few of our peeps before heading to the airport. As I reflect on the past few days here is what I am taking away. People are searching for good things. They are seeking simplicity and harmony. Not everyone for sure, but many are. It is rewarding to be able to share something that can lead there. DōTERRA in itself is not the answer but certainly a tool that provides direction. In seeking wellness To mind, body and spirit it is very well aligned. Four Days, Four Cities, dozens of people enrolling, and a couple hundred continuing their journey. Tears, laughter and even a few orgasms had by a couple of us. It has been an inspiring couple of days.
