It was a pretty quiet week. A PTA meeting Wednesday to plan the Spring 5K and end of year event. We have some pretty awesome Sponsors stepping up. It is my last year in the PTA, youngest moves on to 7th grade next year and I’m retiring. (:
There were two flag football games this week. One Tuesday and one Saturday. The team had a slow start but they are playing so awesome now. Tuesday our little guy scored two touchdowns and Saturday the team won 38-0. It has been very exciting to watch.
Friday we made a quick run up to Grand Targhee. Had lunch in Driggs at this place called The Royal Wolf. Wings, salad and a virgin margarita. Driggs looks like that perfect Idaho small town. The backdrop of the Grand Tetons is beautiful. I can’t wait to go back and ski. Friday evening around 9:30 our daughter and four of her friends from BYU arrived for the weekend. It was fun having them.
Saturday morning they came to cheer on the 5th and 6th graders in flag football. It was a lot of fun. In the afternoon we all watched in horror as BYU lost another game they should have won.
Next week is Homecoming for BYU against Boise State. I am going to enjoy the week and not worry about the game. Injuries have been been brutal this season, but even without injuries I just don’t think BYU is very good right now. Maybe someday. 💙. I love Homecoming in Provo. The blue pancake breakfast is making a return after the 5K. A good week ahead.
