Oahu

We left Idaho Falls bright and early Monday.  Stops in SLC and LAX on the way to Honolulu.  Arrived there at 1:45 Paradise Time.  Picked up the Explorer and headed to our destination for 4 nights on the East Shores of Kailua Bay.  It was absolutely beautiful.  The beach was about as perfect as you can imagine.  We had 90 ft of beach behind the property plus beach to the north and beach to the south.  It was INCREDIBLE.  The sunrises were breathtaking as well.  I think almost every room had a view of the beach.  See pics below.

Monday night we were invited to a friends for a Memorial Day Feast.  It was fun meeting many of their close friends.  Very long day and when we finally did get to bed we were exhausted.  Tuesday we had a pretty chill morning.  Went to grab some groceries and enjoyed the pool and beach.  Sara and Mandy were getting in about 2 pm so we picked them up and went and had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory.  Tuesday night we had a pretty big dōTERRA class with 26 people.  Finally everyone left at about midnight.  Sara was so tired she was incoherent.  We were entering orders until about 2 am.  I was so happy for bed.  Wednesday I got up in time to see the sunrise and then went for a run.  So beautiful.  Took a nap after breakfast.  Sara and Mandy finally got up around 10.  Today was our day with the dolphins.  The kids were so excited and I just want to say this day was one of the best moments of our lives.  Jack and Chip were very talkative as usual and so much energy.  Kids and dolphins 🐬 are a perfect match.  Jack posed for this pic.

Thursday we all got up for the sunrise.  Enjoyed the beach for awhile then up to the Polynesian Cultural Center for the afternoon.  Got some tees and souvenirs and didn’t have enough time to see it all.  We didn’t stay for dinner as Mandy, Sara and I had another dōTERRA class that evening.  Need to go back for sure.  Friday we didn’t go anywhere.  Enjoyed our last day here on Oahu on the beach.  After lunch we started to do the check out list and then were dropped off at the airport for our flight to Maui.  Hugs and goodbyes to my best friends.  They had an 8:45 flight later back to Utah.  Great way to go home by flying through the night.  I already miss them.  I’ll update Maui in a couple of days.  Honestly a lot of rest and relaxation is planned lol.  ❤️

Hawaii 2.0

Such a fun week!  Arrived Monday afternoon and after meeting up with my colleague we had a business lunch at Dukes!  Such a great place to eat and Waikiki is a beautiful beach.  I got tee shirts for everyone, they will be thrilled!  So much history at Dukes, go if you get the chance.  I was pretty wiped out from the flight so we went back to their place and lounged around all afternoon by the pool and caught up.  Tuesday we had business until mid afternoon then more pool time.  I saw Kailua Bay for the first time and the North Shore again.  It’s shocking a place can be so perfect.  Her hubby grilled kabobs and veggies for dinner and it was YUMMY!  No rain despite the forecast, just 70s and clouds.  Wednesday we were up early and on a flight to Kauai.  Business I won’t bore you with but the drive up the coast was so pretty.  Stayed at the Westin Resort.  The rain didn’t come as predicted again :).  We took advantage of the spa and had scheduled hot rock massages then enjoyed some time in the wet sauna.  I was like so relaxed.  Dinner included a virgin margarita and a flash of pineapple juice with short ribs and shrimp.  No words can be uttered to express the sheer perfection of that food.  My taste buds are still happy.  I didn’t wake up at 4 am on Wednesday so I consider it a huge victory.  Thursday started out with a run and then I will tell you straight up the breakfast buffet would blow your mind.  I ate so much.  I had a waffle, an omelette, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, fruit plus hot chocolate, milk, OJ and pineapple juice to drink.  I was so full!   Thursday we had a flight to Maui with a short stop in Oahu on the way.  The rain came after I left in Kauai all day but we only had about an hour of rain in Maui.  Got our business done and spent a short time at the pool.  Mid 60s and cloudy but enjoyed some snacks and the hot tub.  Got hit on but flashed our rings lol.  The Westin Resort on Maui had an awesome performance with fire dancers and about two hours of entertainment.  The Luau was so delicious.  Taste buds were again very happy.  We had soooo much fun.  I am finally sleeping till my alarm goes off.  Today I even hit snooze and waited till 6:30 to get up.  This morning we had 90 minute hot rock massages scheduled.  After the massages we went to the breakfast buffet where I am writing this post.  I love breakfast buffets at resorts, they are over the top.  Trying to not eat so much today.  After we get back to Oahu we are going to meet up for a date.  I am so excited to see Jack and Chip.  I really am hoping they remember me lol.  I don’t even know why it really matters but we had so much fun last time.  It would just be fun to think they do I guess.  I have told my friend so much about them.  She lives here and has never swam with dolphins.  I couldn’t believe it.  So today we live fully.  I’ll let you know how it goes.  I am headed back to the mainland tomorrow.  Business was good, the food was better, the massages were heavenly but I believe the dolphins will take the prize.  😇

Travel

I am grateful for wifi on airplanes.  Definitely helps the time pass.  Seven hours without would be tough.  You can only sleep so long.  I got up at 4 am this morning.  We arrived at the airport just after 5 am.  I appreciate that Keith always parks and takes me in and makes sure I get my bag checked, my boarding pass and through security before he leaves.  It just makes me feel happy.  I don’t often travel alone but when I do he always does this.  Flight was at 6:30 to Salt Lake and once we landed I had a breakfast burrito and bought some snacks for the next flight to Honolulu.  In the air over the ocean right now and there is a lot of ocean.  I do have a window seat so hoping for some great views.  I have one meeting over lunch after we get in, then spending the afternoon with my friend.  I saw there was rain in the forecast this week so hoping that maybe we get lucky and some sun makes an appearance.  Crazy the two days of sun and fun are my travel days.  Dear Universe, just putting it out there, but do me a favor and show me some love.  ❤  I will be on Oahu today and tomorrow.  Wednesday we will be on Kauai and Thursday Maui.  Back Friday to Oahu then Saturday headed home.  Tried to build in some relaxation time despite the business that has to get done.  Actually I did build in some relation time lol.  Keith is on his way to Las Vegas with friends for the WWC basketball tourney.  I hope BYU wins this game so he can see BYU play in the championship.  He is home Wednesday and owes his parents big time lol.

Swimming with Dolphins

I had one of the most incredible experiences of my life today.  Just put it on the List and trust me, swimming with dolphins is absolutely incredible.  My dolphin was Chip and hubby had Jack.  I laughed so much at them but they seemed to think I was the funny one.  They laughed at me.   They were so charismatic and playful.  Super fast and they liked me better than Keith lol.  I even got a kiss from Jack.  I had to angify my pics but the one kissing me is Jack the one I am swimming with is Chip.  Before we left my new friends and I made a promise.  I said I would bring my kids back this Summer to play.  You should have seen how excited they were.  I think they know the word kids.  It means lots of play!  What majestic creatures.  I feel happier today just because of 45 precious minutes playing with new friends.  Absolutely perfect.  ❤️
